OLD FASHIONED CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 tsp. salad oil
3 1/2 lbs. broiler fryer, cut up
1 med. onion, chopped
3 tsp. flour
6 med.-sized red potatoes, cut into quarters
1 (12 oz.) bag baby carrots
2 chicken flavored bouillon cubes
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. water

Brown chicken in oil. Cook onions in drippings until browned. Stir in flour and 2 cups of water. Pour over chicken when mixture boils and thickens. Stir in potatoes, carrots, bouillon and pepper into 4-quart casserole dish. Cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
