1 qt. vodka (plus 1/2 optional)
3 c. sugar
2 c. water
4 tbsp. instant coffee
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Boil water and sugar 20 minutes very slowly. Cool and put into large bowl. Dissolve the coffee in 1 cup of vodka. Add to water and sugar mixture. Add remaining vodka plus vanilla extract. Enjoy. Makes 6 1/2 to 7 cups of Kahlua.
