YUM YUM SALAD
1 (6 oz.) box lemon Jello
5 med. bananas, sliced thin
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained to reserve juice for topping

SECOND PART - TOPPING:

1 c. juice or add enough water to make a cup
1 egg
2 rounded tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. Dream Whip

First off open pineapple and let drain while you mix Jello and 2 cups of boiling water. Stir until dissolved, then add bananas, marshmallows, then add 1 3/4 cups cool water, then pineapple. Stir well and refrigerate until set good; (about 6 hours) or until the next day.

TOPPING: Beat together pineapple juice, flour, egg and add 1/2 cup sugar. Set on stove and cook until thickened. Set aside and let cool.

Mix Dream Whip according to package and fold into cooled pudding mix then spread over Jello top. Decorate with maraschino cherries or chopped peanuts. (Also can use cherry or strawberry Jello.) I received this recipe while camping 30 years ago and it has been past down in our family to may grandchildren (they make it now). In fact my great-granddaughter made it for her great- grandfather's 70th birthday party (she's 8 years old). Enjoy! Enjoy!
