1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
1/3 c. ketchup
1 sm. minced onion
1 c. salad oil
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1 clove garlic, cut in quarters

Combine ingredients and age in refrigerator. Before serving take out garlic pieces. I use this dressing on a tossed green salad with:

Lettuce
Green onions
Swiss cheese
Grated eggs
Homemade croutons

Drizzle over top of salad.
