MICROWAVE COCONUT BARS 
1/2 c. butter
2 lg. eggs
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. all - purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flaked coconut

Place butter in 1 cup microwave container. Cook on High 1 minute. Beat eggs until lemon colored. Add butter, brown sugar, flour, baking powder and vanilla; blend well. Stir in nuts and coconut. Pour into 9 inch glass baking dish. Cook on High for 6 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
