PECAN ROLL COOKIES 
1/2 stick butter (use real butter)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. pecans
Dash of salt

Mix above ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet, approximately 5 inches apart. Bake in a very slow oven about 325 degrees until brown. Roll around a pencil while still hot. Slide off pencil and let cool. A very crispy cookie.
