PECOS PASTA | |
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 (7 oz.) pkg. macaroni, 2 c. 1 tbsp. butter 1 sm. green pepper, chopped 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 lg. can Hormel chili con carne 1 can whole kernel corn, drained 1 lb. hamburger, browned 1 tsp. seasoned salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Cook macaroni, drain. Melt butter in large skillet or Dutch oven. Add pepper and onion, cook until tender, not brown. Add hamburger and fry a little, add chili, corn, seasoned salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in macaroni, then top with cheddar cheese. Cover and heat on low for 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Makes 6 servings. |
