KERRI'S GREAT & EASY TURKEY MEATLOAF | |
2 lb. ground turkey 2 eggs 1/4 cup ketchup (Hunts) 1/4 cup water 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/3 cup minced onion 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs GLAZE: 2 parts ketchup to 1 part brown sugar (mixed into a thin glaze - enough to cover meatloaf) Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat eggs in large bowl, then add in ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, onion, and breadcrumbs. Mix well. Add ground turkey to bread crumb mixture, mix well. Spread into 8x8-inch baking dish and cover with foil. Bake at 350°F for one hour. (You may want to check 30 minutes into baking to see if you need to drain any liquid off). Remove foil, then bake for an extra 7 to 10 minutes so that meatloaf will be a little firmer and "brown up". Remove meatloaf from oven, coat with ketchup / brown sugar glaze, return to oven and then BROIL just until the glaze is bubbly. Enjoy! Submitted by: Kerri |
