BROCCOLI SOUP | |
1 c. milk 1 c. water 1/2 stick butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 1/2 tbsp. chicken base 1 tbsp. onion powder 1 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli, cook and drain 1 c. Cheddar cheese Heat milk and water until very hot. Mix butter and flour until creamy. Add to hot milk. Stir until creamy and thickened. Add chicken base, onion powder, and cheese. Mix well. Add broccoli. Do not boil after you add cheese. Serves 6. Calories 251, fat 21.7 gm, calories from fat 76%, sodium 341 mg. Nutritional Services |
