1 c. sugar, white
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

5 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream sugars and butter and add remaining ingredients. Shape into cookies. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes and let cool.
