2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 lb. butter, softened
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients except the baking powder in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cool for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add baking powder and beat to spreading consistency.
