1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream sugars, butter and oil. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients. Add and mix well. It will seem quite oily - add a little more flour if you wish. Roll into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press down with a flat bottomed glass dipped in sugar or sprinkles. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 6 to 7 dozen.
