NANNY'S BEANS AND CORNBREAD 
Soak beans overnight, drain. cover beans with 1 1/2 quarts water, bring to a boil. Add tablespoon garlic, 1 cup of onion, 1/2 cup green pepper, bacon, 1 can tomato sauce. Reduce heat, simmer 2 hours covered. Uncover simmer until tender. Season to taste with Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt and pepper during last 30 minutes. Serve with cornbread.
