1 box yellow cake mix
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
1 can coconut
1 c. nuts
1 lg. Dream Whip

Cook pineapple and sugar together while cake is cooking, about 30 minutes. Pour over layers of cake while still warm. Mix last 4 items together and use as icing between layers and on top and sides.
