EASY STRAWBERRY CAKE 
2 cake layers (cooled)
1 pt. fresh or frozen crushed, sweetened strawberries
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
10-12 whole strawberries (optional)

To assemble cake: Put one cake layer on plate; punch with fork numerous times. Put half of berries on layer and let set about 10 minutes to allow juice to soak in, then put Cool Whip over berries.

Repeat second layer. Put Cool Whip on sides of cake also. Garnish with whole berries, if desired.
