HONEY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. regular flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening or butter
1 1/4 c. honey
2/3 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs (unbeaten)
2 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted (or 7 tbsp. cocoa)

Mix honey, water and vanilla. Set aside. Soften shortening. Add dry ingredients. Add half of liquids and the eggs. Mix until all flour is dampened. Beat 1 minute. Add remaining liquid and chocolate. Beat 2 minutes. Batter will be thin. Pour into greased and floured pans. Bake at 350 degrees, 30 minutes for layers and cupcakes; 40 minutes for 9 x 13-inch pan.

Makes great cupcakes!
