CHICKEN FRICASSEE 
2 1/2 to 3 lbs. broiler-fryer pieces
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/3 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. shortening
1 (12 oz.) jar Heinz chicken gravy
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

Dredge chicken in mixture of flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. In fry pan brown chicken in shortening. Drain excess fat.

Combine gravy and nutmeg with remaining flour mixture. Pour over chicken. Cover and simmer 50-60 minutes or until chicken is tender, basting occasionally. Serves 5-6.
