3 eggs 5 tbsp. oil 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk 2 tsp. anise (or lemon) extract 1 tsp. vanilla 5 tsp. baking powder 4 c. flour Beat eggs and oil together. Add sugar, milk and flavorings. Mix together baking powder, flour and gradually add to the liquid mixture until the dough is firm, not sticky. Roll bits of dough into walnut sized balls or drop by tablespoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 to 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Top with glaze. GLAZE: Mix some confectioner's sugar with some milk until smooth. Add dash of vanilla. Separate mixture into 5 small bowls. With food coloring makes 5 different colors. |
