PORK SAUSAGE AND APPLE DRESSING | |
1 1/2 lb. bread, cubed 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1/2 c. sliced celery 2 apples, chopped 1/2 lb. melted butter 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 eggs 1 tsp. sage 1/2 lb. sausage Garlic salt to taste Fry sausage to crumbly stage. Add onions, celery, and seasonings. Cook until onions is almost done and then add apples. Cook for a few minutes. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. If not moist enough add a little water or chicken stock. This makes enough dressing for a 15 pound turkey. |
