LEMON PRETZEL DESSERT 
CRUST:

1/2 c. butter (1 stick), melted
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. broken pretzels

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
1/2 c. sugar
8 oz. whipped topping
1 (16oz.) can lemon pie filling
Heavy cream, whipped
Maraschino cherries

To make crust, pour butter and 3 tablespoons sugar over pretzels in a 9x9-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cool slightly. (Watch so pretzels do not over brown.)

To make filling, combine cheese and 1/2 cup sugar and whipped topping. Spread over pretzels. Chill/ spread pie filling over top of cheese. Chill again. Garnish each serving with whipped cream and a cherry.
