CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
1 pkg. waverly crackers, crushed 1 stick butter, melted 1 lg. (3 lbs. or more) fryer 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 c. sour cream 1 sm. jar pimento, cut up (optional) 1/2 c. chicken broth Cook chicken and de-bone. Cut in bite-size pieces. Layer bottom of casserole with crushed crackers, then chicken. Pour melted butter over this. Mix soup, sour cream, pimento and chicken broth; pour over chicken and crackers. Sprinkle paprika on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until it bubbles. |
