SIMPLE SOUP 
1 good sized onion, chopped
1 (15-16 oz.) can green beans
1 can great northern beans
1 (15-16 oz.) can tomatoes
3 beef bouillon cubes or beef stock if available

Cook onion in about 1 1/2 cups water. Dissolve bouillon cubes in water with onion. Add vegetables and simmer for about 15 minutes. (Use all liquid from canned vegetables.) Serve with cornbread or crusty bread and baked potato.
