APPLE - PECAN CAKE 
1 box of yellow cake mix
2 lg. apples
1/2 bag of chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. oil
1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1/2 stick butter

Cut the apples into small pieces. Put the vanilla extract into a saucepan with the apples and add 1/2 cup of sugar. Add 1/2 stick of butter. Bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Let it cool for 10 more minutes. Put flour over the pecans, then sift. Combine the cake mix with the eggs, milk and water and add pecans and apples. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook until the cake rises.
