PEPPER STEAK 
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 c. beef stock
1 tsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 lb. round steak, thinly sliced and cut in 1 1/2 inch long strips
2 sm. onions, peeled and each cut into 6 wedges
2 green bell peppers, cored, seeded and cut into thin 1 1/2 inch long strips

Mix first 3 ingredients; set aside. Heat butter in wok or heavy frying pan, until hot, add meat and garlic powder, stir-fry 1 minute. Add onions and peppers; stir-fry for 1 or 2 minutes. Add next ingredients. Stir cornstarch mixture; add to wok; stir-fry until sauce thickens slightly. Serve immediately over hot rice. 4 servings.
