CALIFORNIA CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cooked noodles
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. sour cream
3/4 c. onions, chopped
1/2 c. black olives, chopped

Brown beef, garlic, salt, pepper and sugar. Add tomato sauce and paste. Bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, olives and onions. Spoon 1 cup meat mix on bottom of greased 13 x 9 pan. Add noodles, then rest of meat sauce. Top with sour cream/cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
