MILK BAKED HAM STEAK 
2 tsp. powdered mustard
2 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/2" thick ham steak
3 c. milk, approx.

1. In a small bowl, combine the mustard, brown sugar and ginger. Rub well into both sides of the ham.

2. Place ham steak in a shallow casserole or baking dish just large enough to hold it. Pour in enough milk to come level with the steak.

3. Place in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until milk is all absorbed and ham has a deep crust.

If you're using a packaged ham steak (i.e. Eckrich) from a grocery store, it will easily be done baking in 40-45 min. Keep an eye on it, so you don't overcook. Otherwise, this is a great recipe. Very easy!
