BARB'S SPECIAL RICE PUDDING 
1 lb. "Carolina" rice
1 stick butter
1 can evaporated milk
1 qt. milk
1 c. sugar or add more or less to taste
1 lg. pkg. Jello instant pudding
Vanilla to taste
Raisins (optional)

Boil rice in directed amount of water until almost tender. Can leave some water in. Turn to simmer. Then add butter, can milk, milk, sugar and simmer 2 hours. Remove from heat. Stir in dry pudding mix and vanilla. Add raisins. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
