CHOCOLATE DUMPLINGS 
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 square chocolate, unsweetened
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. water
2 tbsp. butter

Combine above in an electric skillet. Bring to boil. Simmer while mixing dumplings:

1 square melted chocolate
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. sugar

Beat egg slightly. Beat in milk, coloring and vanilla. Blend in Bisquick and sugar. Add melted chocolate. Bring sauce to boil and drop batter by spoonfuls into sauce, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whip cream on top.
