PORK CHOPS IN A POT 
4-6 lean pork chops
Shortening to brown
3-4 potatoes, sliced thin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can green beans
1 tbsp. chopped onion
3 slices cooked bacon, chopped

Brown pork chops in shortening. Line casserole or pan with foil. Place pork chops in pan. Add potatoes, salt and pepper. Cover potatoes with green beans, onion and bacon. Add 1/2 to 1 cup water. Cover tightly. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until potatoes are tender.
