CHERRY BROWNIES 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 large eggs, slightly beaten

Stir cake mix, pie filling, almond extract and eggs together. Pour into 15 x 10-inch greased jelly roll pan.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

Frosting:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
5 tbsp. butter
1 c. chocolate chips

In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk and butter. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and spread over warm brownies.
