3 eggs
1 c. sugar
3 c. milk
3 c. bread crumbs
2 apples, cut fine
Butter size of egg
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla

Beat eggs well, add sugar and continue beating. Add all other ingredients. Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees until milk is a custard and firm. Insert a knife in center to test if done and knife comes out clean.
