4 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter 3 egg yolks (slightly beaten) 1 cup dairy sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 3 egg whites 3 tbsp. confectioners' sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar, for sprinkling Cut butter into flour, add egg yolks, dairy sour cream and vanilla. Mix well and chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Cut dough into 8 parts. Work with one part at a time leaving the rest in the refrigerator. Dust cutting board with confectioners' sugar and roll out dough into a circle. Cut the circle into 8 or 12 wedges. In a separate bowl beat the egg whites until they are fluffy and add vanilla and some confectioners' sugar. Brush dough with egg whites mixture and sprinkle cinnamon sugar. Roll up each wedge loosely starting at the wide end of the wedge (similar to crescent rolls). Brush more egg white mixture on top of the rolled cookie followed by sprinkling them with additional cinnamon sugar. Place cookies on greased cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
