COCONUT KISSES 
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. granulated sugar
2 c. Corn Flakes
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can (1 1/3 c.) flaked coconut
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
21 oz. (8 sqs.) semi-sweet chocolate
2 tsp. shortening

Beat egg whites with dash of salt and vanilla to soft peaks. Gradually add sugar; beat stiff. Stir in cereal, coconut and nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto well-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Remove cookies immediately. If they stick to pan, return to oven to soften. Melt chocolate and shortening together. Drizzle atop cookies. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
