ROLLADEN 
Round or rump roast, sliced 1/4 inch thick
Chopped onions
Salt and pepper
Bacon - lots

Fill meat with onion, salt, pepper, bacon. Roll up. Tie with thread or toothpick. Brown each roll-up in oil. Drain.

Fill pot with chopped onion and cover with water. Cook slowly on top of stove approximately one hour. Remove roll-ups and thicken gravy. Return roll-ups to gravy.
