Any type of lettuce (I prefer iceberg lettuce). Use half or whole, depending on size of salad. Add artichoke hearts (usually 1/2 pound). Add marinated mushrooms (usually 1/2 pound). Add marinated eggplant (usually 1/2 pound). Provolone cheese, usually in form of small chunks. Genoa salami, cut into quarters (1/4 pound is usually enough).
Add small can pitted black olives, green olives, tuscan pepper (1 jar is enough). Red roasted mancini peppers (1/2 jar, peppers to be sliced into thin strips). Anchovies (flat fillets without capers). Add oil and vinegar. Ready to serve, not necessary to toss the salad.
