OMELET 24 HOUR CASSEROLE | |
7 slices white bread 3/4 lb. longhorn cheese or sharp 8 eggs 3/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 1/2 c. milk 1 lb. sausage, browned & drained or cooked ham or bacon Trim crust from bread slices and butter on one side; cut into 1" cubes. Place bread, buttered side up, in a greased 9"x13" pan. Beat together eggs, milk and salt and pour over bread cubes in pan. Add sausage, ham cubes or bacon strips and top with grated cheese. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake, covered in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover for the last 10 minutes to brown. Turn on low to keep warm up to serving time. |
