1 lb. ground beef 1 egg 1/4 c. bread crumbs 1 tsp. French garlic powder 1 tsp. red hot cayenne pepper sauce 1 tsp. yellow mustard 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 1/4 c. water 1/3 c. catsup 3 tbsp. red hot cayenne pepper Hard rolls Combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, garlic powder, 1 teaspoon red hot sauce and mustard. Mix and shape into 1-inch meatballs. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. In saucepan, melt butter, blend in cornstarch. Add water, catsup and 3 tablespoons red hot sauce. Simmer until thickened. Add meatballs and heat through. Serve on split hard rolls. Serves 6. |
