PINEAPPLE 7-UP CAKE 
1 pkg. pineapple cake mix
1 pkg. pineapple or vanilla instant pudding mix
3/4 c. oil
4 eggs
10 oz. 7-Up

Duncan Hines brand or mix 1 teaspoon pineapple extract in yellow cake batter.

Mix all ingredients 2 minutes with mixer and bake in 3 (9") cake pans (greased and floured) in 325 degree oven until golden brown, about 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 stick butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained

Combine ingredients, cook over medium heat until thick. Let cool, spread between cake layers and on top of cake and let run down sides of cake.
