GERMAN NOODLE SALAD 
2 tbsp. flour
3 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
1/2 c. diced pepper (green)
1 c. diced celery
1 box lg. shells
2 tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. vinegar
2-4 tbsp. mustard
1/2 c. diced onion
4 tbsp. water

Brown bacon, remove bacon from pan. Saute onion, celery and pepper in bacon grease. Add flour to thicken. Add vinegar, water, mustard and sugar. Put bacon back in pan. Gradually add to hot cooked noodles. Serve hot. I make this in an electric fry pan. Great for back yard picnics.
