MAMAW MARY'S RAISIN SQUARES 
2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. cooked raisins
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisin water

Cover raisins in a saucepan, bring to a boil and simmer. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla, flour (to which other dry ingredients have been added), drained raisins and 1/2 cup of the raisin water. Mix. Bake at 350 degrees in a 12 x 16 inch pan until golden brown.

Frost with powdered sugar, butter, milk and vanilla frosting per the instructions on the powdered sugar package.
