1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add alternately with buttermilk. Add flavoring last. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 or 30 minutes.
