5 HOUR BEEF STEW 
2 lb. beef stew meat
1/2 c. celery, cut up
6 carrots, cut up
1 onion, cut up
4-5 med. potatoes, peeled and cut up

SAUCE:

1 tbsp. instant tapioca
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet (brown bottle)
1 lg. can stewed tomatoes (I use Mexican style stewed tomatoes)

Place first 5 ingredients in a roasting pan. Mix together sauce and pour over meat mixture, cover tightly and bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours. Do not peek! Makes 4 large servings, 6 medium servings.
