5 HOUR BEEF STEW 
2 lb. stewing beef, in chunks
6 carrots, cut in chunks
3 potatoes, cut in chunks
1 lg. onion, sliced
5 sticks celery, sliced thick
2 1/2 c. stewed tomatoes
2 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. Minute tapioca
Salt and pepper to taste

Place all ingredients in large baking dish, cover very tightly. Bake 5 hours at 250 degrees or longer. NO PEEKING!
