ROSETTES 
2 eggs, beaten well
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs, sugar, and salt. Add milk, flour, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Heat oil to fry at 400 degrees. Plunge rosette iron into hot oil, then dip in batter 3/4 of the way up the sides of the design. Plunge into oil and fry until golden. Drain; cool. Store in air-tight container. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
