PEPPER STEAK 
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in 1 inch strips by 1 1/2 inches
1 c. water
1 beef bouillon cube
1 clove garlic or garlic powder to taste
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. green pepper, cut in 1 inch pieces
2-3 stalks celery, cut in pieces diagonally
1 med. onion, sliced thinly
1 sm. jar pimentos, sliced
4 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. soy sauce

Brown beef strips in salad oil on top of stove. Add water and beef bouillon cube. Transfer to glass skillet. Add garlic and ginger; cover and microwave 7 minutes on simmer. Stir remaining ingredients into beef, cover and microwave 7-10 minutes on simmer until vegetables are tender-crisp.

NOTE: Mix cornstarch and soy sauce together before adding to rest of mixture.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
