1 pkg. Duncan Hines white deluxe cake mix
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 tbsp. water
2 eggs
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend cake mix, oil, water and eggs. Stir in chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Top of cookies will look pale. Cook on cookie sheet for about 1 minute, then remove to rack to finish cooling. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies.
