1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. Crisco shortening
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
chocolate chips

Cream sugars and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla, then add dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
