BEEF STROGANOFF 
1-2 lbs. round steak, cut in cubes (trimmed)
Enough flour to coat it
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. chopped onion
Garlic salt
Reg. salt
Pepper
1 sm. can mushrooms
1 c. sour cream
2 cans tomato soup (don't dilute)

Brown meat in oil after coating in flour. Add onion, garlic salt, regular salt and pepper. Add mushrooms. Add sour cream and tomato soup. Blend well. Bake in oven - about 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Stir occasionally. Serve over rice, noodles or Chinese noodles. Parmesan cheese can be sprinkled over it, too.
