BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Beat together the cream cheese, egg, sugar, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips and set aside. 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. cocoa 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. water 1/3 c. vegetable oil 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 tsp. vanilla

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Beat these ingredients well. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Fill muffin tins, lined with paper baking cups, half full of chocolate mixture. Spoon a teaspoon of cream cheese mixture on top of each and bake for 20 minutes.
