1 pkg. bread dough
1 pkg. frozen or 1 can leaf spinach
Shredded cheese - any type
Pepperoni, optional
Olives, optional
Mushrooms, optional

Let dough rise covered until doubled in bowl greased with shortening. Punch down dough and roll into rectangle on floured board. Spread spinach around dough. Dot lightly with butter and salt and pepper. Spread cheese around and optional items.

Roll into jelly roll and pinch edges. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and let stand for 10-15 minutes. Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. You may brush with butter or egg to brown the outside.
